Pete Keirstead
Pete Keirstead has been living in the Daytona Beach area since 1988. His wife, Shaylan, is an Interior Designer and an actual area native (those are hard to find). He earned his BS from ERAU and went on to complete his MA from UCF in Counselor Education, with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is a licensed commercial pilot, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and ordained minister. His community service has earned him numerous awards and appointments. Pete and Shaylan have 3 children.

Associate pastor

Aaron Green
Aaron was born and raised in Ormond Beach, Florida where he still resides with his wife (Bridget), and their two boys, Hezekiah & J.J. He has a Master’s in Theological Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Bachelors in Biblical Studies from SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Post-Master’s Certificate in Spiritual Formation from Boston College. The Bible and Bible study has been a passion of his since he was a boy, and he loves leading people through the text of Scripture and engaging with their questions. He currently leads One Year Bible discussion groups, various Thrive podcasts, and spiritual formation activities throughout the year. Aaron has been on staff since 2020.

Worship pastor

Clayton Proctor
Clayton is a Daytona Beach native who began serving in local church ministry as a teenager. He started in maintenance and janitorial roles while also volunteering on the worship team. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management with a minor in Ministry from Palm Beach Atlantic University, Clayton stepped into full-time ministry and eventually became the church’s Worship Pastor. He has served in this capacity at Thrive since 2024.
Clayton married his wife, Elena, in 2021, and together they have three children: Cyrus (2022), Mia (2023), and Eloise (2025). Clayton and Elena are passionate about apprenticing themselves to Jesus and pursuing a life marked by authenticity, accountability, and spiritual growth.
