Why we give

At Thrive Community Church, we believe in the transformative power of giving as a reflection of our faith and gratitude towards God. Our generosity is not merely about funding church activities; it's an act of worship and obedience that aligns us with God's purpose for our lives and our community. By giving, we acknowledge God's provision and sovereignty, as highlighted in Leviticus 27:30, where it is written, "Every tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the Lord's; it is holy to the Lord."

Through our contributions, we create avenues for others to discover and deepen their relationship with Christ, mirroring the communal and generous spirit of the early church seen in Acts 2:45, where believers shared their possessions so that no one among them was in need. Our gifts help spread the gospel, support community needs, and foster spiritual growth, fulfilling the biblical call to be stewards of God's grace.

In essence, giving is our response to God’s generous love and a practical expression of our faith, ensuring that we remain aligned with the principle that "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21). This spiritual alignment not only supports the church’s mission but enriches our personal journey with Christ.
